Critics wasted no time in highlighting the flaws of Justice League which were an outcome of two contrasting visions of Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon. Although the film was a Snyder movie right from the start, Warner Bros. roped in Whedon to take care of the reshoots and re-do a significant part of the script.
As seen this week, critics were not the only people who found issues with the movie, but, Zack Snyder’s son also expressed his sentiments about the eventual cut, on social media.
Zack Snyder’s son Jett gave his opinion about the film on Vero and surprisingly, he had some advice for Warner Bros.
“On a more serious note I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling by Warner Brothers and the forced comedy,” Jett Elin shared on Vero. “The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash: but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it.”
Though he was still optimistic, Elin apparently had a grudge about the way the studio managed the film made by his father. The run-time antagonized a lot of Snyder fans as he normally makes elaborate movies. The eventual theatrical cut of Justice League which was an outcome of all the reshoots was just below two hours. ‘
A lot of fans apparently resonate with Elin about these issues as more than 100 thousand people have signed a fan petition asking Warner Bros. to release the Snyder cut of the movie when Justice League comes out on Blu-ray.
