A video has been shared by the Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland from the movie’s set, showing the young actor playing golf in his Spider-Man costume.
“In-between shots. Name this scene,” Holland captioned, making a reference to this chase scene inspired by the Ferris Bueller’s Day-Off, which showed a hassled Spider-Man chase a van driven by the villains.
You could see the Wall-crawler sprinting and jumping across backyards, and even a golf course, in his bid to chase the bad guys.
The action scene was based on an issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, where the web-slinger was faced with a similar scenario.
Spider-Man: Homecoming has become the highest-earning comic book film of 2017, outperforming Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League.
Tom Holland and director Jon Watts will return to make Spider-Man: Homecoming’s sequel which might start filming in Berlin this June.
The presently untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel is set to release on July 5, 2019.
