Todd McFarlane, the maker of Spawn has wished fans a happy holiday by unveiling the first look of the upcoming Spawn reboot movie’s script!
As seen above, the mentioned page of script is describing the place at the shooting range showing two NYPD cops “Danny” and “Twitch” undergoing target practice. The scene is an early sequence of the movie as revealed by McFarlane.
After spending several years between, McFarlane has now got the chance to write and direct his upcoming Spawn film. The vocal comic book creator has been trying for this kind of vision for many years, aiming to make a low cost horror-style movie ($10-1$12 million). The film shows two NYPD cops (like those two in the scene), on the trail that led to a shadowy monster affecting their investigation. McFarlane had earlier hinted that the movie will be a conservative portrayal of the monster. Since the cop characters are bound to be the core of the film, it is a big challenge to see who is cast in the roles and that’s what fans would be eagerly waiting to know.
The Spawn reboot is currently under development and talks have also taken place about a new Spawn animated series being in the works.
