Some fans reported seeing Darth Vader’s helmet in the latest Star Wars: The Last Jedi poster.
They went to say that the new poster shows the movie’s cast being arranged in the shape of the headgear worn by Darth Vader. As per their explanation, Luke Skywalker represents the forehead, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) are the eyes, General Leia (Carrie Fisher) is the nose and also the top of the triangular outline of Vader’s air input filter. The rest of the cast marks the sides of the helmet.
Have a look below at how some of the fans have superimposed Darth Vader on the poster to prove what they saw.
This has been revealed that this poster for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is based on the original Star Wars trilogy posters. We wonder if this framing of Darth Vader’s helmet is a planned thing or is it an outcome of the fans’ hallucination that might be due to them staring at the poster for much longer than advised. Take your pick.
There is no doubt that despite having died a long time ago, Darth Vader still impacts the Star Wars sequel series in a major way as Kylo Ren is seen making efforts to revive the legacy of his iconic villain grandfather.
The Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit the theaters on December 15, 2017, and the Star Wars: Episode IX will come out on December 20, 2019. In between, we will see the untitled Han Solo spin-off film which is set to release on May 25, 2019.
