Recently we heard about Netflix giving Stranger Things a third season, but, now the actor David Harbour has hinted that we will need to wait for close to two years before the Season 3 becomes available.
Harbour essays the role of Chief Jim Hopper in this horror series, and he discussed the latest announcement about Season 3 of the show during an interview with Variety. Although, Netflix and Duffer brothers, showrunners of Stranger Things, are willing to hurry up on the project, it is going to take time to get everything worked out for the new season. “One of the things that’s annoying for fans is that it takes us a long time to do them,” Harbour explained. “Like, you probably won’t get [Season 3] until sometime in 2019.”
“But also part of the thing is, like any good thing, they need time,” he added, “And those guys work so hard. I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day.” Therefore, one thing is certain that even though the show is not coming back quickly, the Duffer brothers are devotedly working on the script and we also advise against rushing things!
The Season 2 of Stranger Things is currently streaming on Netflix, and it features Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery.
