It won’t be wrong to think of MCU as a big Easter basket which keeps on coming up with new hidden messages such as this one from the 2011 movie Thor.
Similar to the fantastic and hidden details that were found in the costumes of Ant-Man and The Wasp, the top of Thor’s hammer also has a message for anyone desirous of wielding it. The viewers might have thought that these were just random symbols, but, it actually happens to be a coded message which means “He who wields this hammer commands the lightning and the storm.”

The message is quite identical to what Odin promised while banishing Thor from Asgard and his hammer, “He whosoever holds this hammer, should he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” No surprise that the God of Thunder redeemed himself in Odin’s eyes and picked up the hammer before the end of his debut film.
Kenneth Branagh directed the 2011 Thor. In the films, Odin’s (Anthony Hopkins) son Thor will take over the throne from his old father. However, his coronation day made Thor commit brutality when their enemies, the Frost Giants come to the palace, ignoring their treaty. Consequently, Odin put Thor into exile on Earth. In his absence Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor’s brother conspires in Asgard. It leads to a powerless Thor, face his mightiest challenge.
Thor’s latest cinematic outing was in last November’s release Thor: Ragnarok where he joined forces with Hulk to undertake a cosmic mission before a faceoff with Thanos would send him to Avengers: Infinity War. The upcoming MCU films are: Black Panther on February 16th, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4th and Ant-Man and The Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 on July 6, 2019 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
