Tim Burton’s 1989 take on ‘Batman’ wasn’t quite as “dark” as Christopher Nolan’s rebooted trilogy that followed 16 years later . But seeing the last screen portrayal of the Caped Crusader was the ’60s era campfest showing Adam West, Burton’s perception was still quite a exodus in tone from what audiences were used to witnessing from The Dark Knight on cover.

1. Michael Keaton, Bruce Wayne/Batman

Now: Nicholson only film credit since 2007 was a small role in long-time Collaborator James L. Brooks’ 2010 film ‘How Do You Know’ and the actor seems to be semi-retired from acting.
