Thor: Ragnarok is having a good run in theaters, and Black Panther’s release is now the next step, and it means that a marketing blitz is about to hit us for the biggest Marvel Studios’ crossover till date.
Recently, a new artwork related to Avengers: Infinity War came out on the internet, thanks to a fan page on VK.com, a Russian social media site. Have a look:
The promotional artwork showcases Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie). The poster gives a more in-depth look at their costumes compared to what we saw in the form of Infinity Wars posters distributed at San Diego Comic-Con during the summer.
We had also seen this trio in the leaked photos of the trailer that did the rounds a short while back and showed Team Captain taking on Proxima Midnight from the Black Order of Thanos. Those fortunate fans who saw the footage displayed at Disney’s D23 Expo and SDCC had already seen this teaser.
The footage showed Proxima hurl her spear at the shadows where Captain America catches it midair and then steps out to show his cool new beard.
Black Widow had gone against Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War, thus, it is logical that she will be seen on the Captain’s side.
They might not have new costumes and are dressed in the same attire that we saw during the mega superhero street fight. Now with Stark having a plethora of new costumes, these guys have to manage with what they got. Captain America’s ensemble has changed a lot, taking into account all those bright colors that have since been modified to be less patriotic.
We hope that this is a sign of the imminent and early release of the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and we will soon relish dissecting it. Let’s say at the same time as Star Wars: The Last Jedi?
Avengers: Infinity War will release in theaters on May 4, 2018.
