Warning: This article has major Spoilers and if you haven’t seen the film, then beware!
In case you hung around to watch the post-credits scene of Justice League, you saw the first glimpse of Joe Manganiello’s Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke The Terminator!
The scene provided a very brief look of Deathstroke in his armor, and then we saw another quick visual of Manganiello aka Slade Wilson, below his legendary helmet. Now a picture has come up on Reddit and thanks to it; we are able to have a better look at this DCEU adaptation of Deathstroke:
The photo was taken from Instagram, and it shows Joe Manganiello besides actresses Katia Elizarova (right and Gem Refoufi (left), who are playing the roles of two of the lady guards hired by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) to protect him during his meeting with Deathstroke. This behind-the-scenes photograph (and the picture-in-picture) added to the top left corner will show you Deathstroke movie armor as well as Manganiello’s appearance as Slade Wilson.
As teased in the final scene of Justice League credits, Deathstroke might pop up anywhere ranging from The Batman solo movie, Suicide Squad 2, Justice League 2 wherein he will play a part in Luthor’s plans to set up the Legion of Doom evil team (aka “The Injustice League”). No matter where we see him next in DCEU, we are sure about seeing him in the Deathstrokesolo movie which is being developed by The Raid: Redemption director Gareth Evans.
Justice League is now in playing in theaters, and it will be followed by Aquaman on December 21, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Wonder Woman 2 on November 1st, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.
