“Game Of Thrones” Season 7: 7 Things You Can Expect.-2
3. Arya’s Vengeance Voyage Through Westeros
Arya squandered no time after coming back to Westeros before starting to cross out a few names off her list. This was with the help of the skills she picked up from her time with the Faceless Men. Walder Frey was a decent start but who is next? What’s more, where will she stop? Arya may fill in for Lady Stoneheart (otherwise known as the revived crazy Catelyn Stark). In the books she is helped by the Brotherhood Without Banners and goes on a vengeance visit looking for everybody involved with the Red Wedding. Accidental losses of that campaign are Brienne and Pod, who Stoneheart, in her craziness, mistakes for Lannister swindlers. In any case, Arya didn’t have a lot of interaction with Brienne. Furthermore, assuming that she and Pod have not paddled too far up the waterway, they are both in the Riverlands towards the end of the season.
However, if Arya isn’t going the Red Wedding just Stoneheart course, who’s left on her list? Cersei, the Mountain, the Hound, Melisandre, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr and Ilyn Payne. Those names could take her North, perhaps to Winterfell, or to King’s Landing.
4. Dany’s New Squad
Some of you may have wondered how Varys wound up on that ship with Dany, Tyrion, Missendei and the rest for that last magnificent shot of the season. This is especially since we just saw him hanging out in Dorne with the Sand Snakes and Olenna Tyrell. Apparently, this implies that either Dany swung by Dorne or their ships got together with them some place in the center. In any case, Dany has, now, an absurdly stacked deck versus Cersei in King’s Landing. This is the place Daario appeared to hint she was heading towards. The next big question is, how much power will she unleash and where? As it is, those Sand Snakes have been known for going off-book. Be happy that the Queen of is there to deal with them.
