All eyes are on Thor: Ragnarok, right now, however, Marvel Studios just hinted about the possible release of the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War’s trailer and it is coming much earlier than what we might have expected.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige recently spoke to Fandango’s Erik Davis and when he was questioned about the trailer of Infinity War’s trailer, and he said it is very close.
“I asked Kevin Feige when the #InfinityWar trailer is going to hit, and he confirmed it will arrive ‘before the end of the year.’ 😜👍“
The chances are that it will come out as a post-credits scene, much similar to the way we saw the first Avengers trailer which was placed at the end of Captain America: First Avenger. It would not only be a fantastic closure to the year but, will also be logical from the story’s perspective because Feige has stated earlier that the 2017 movies are going to have a major connection with Infinity War.
“Very heavily,” Feige said. “Very heavily, as Iron Man and Captain America influenced the first Avengers. More so than the movies leading into Age of Ultron, even. They really build up to that.”
The films that he mentioned are Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther. While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has also released in this period, it has its own separate story, although, the Guardians will have a role to play in Infinity War.
The upcoming trailer is going to feature some of the footage that we had seen at the San Diego Comic-Con this year and had received a great response. Let’s just hope that the trailer will also be equally appreciated by the audiences.
Avengers: Infinity War releases on May 4, 2018.
