Details are little when it comes to the Avengers 4 filming in Atlanta, but set photos from this final, Phase Three confirms that Hawkeye has a new costume.
The photos came on Twitter in the evening was a glance and do not look interesting. They show Jeremy Renner in head to toe black, a jacket covering his outfit. If fans look closely, there are gold markings on knees and shins that look like Clint Barton’s Ronin costume.
In comics, Clint becomes Ronin when he rejoins the Avengers after Civil War. If the costume for Avengers 4 does indicate that Clint is taking up a new mantle it makes sense in regard to the story. The last time audiences saw Hawkeye was in Captain America: Civil War where the Avengers broke apart over the Sokovia Accords.
With the threat of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, it makes sense that Avengers may have to reform to save their world and providing Clint with the opportunity for a new costume.
And Hawkeye’s look is not the only information about Avengers 4 to hit the internet. Kevin Feige has revealed in a recent interview with IndieWire that Captain Marvel will be making an appearance in this film that he said will bring an end of the story.
“Really, the focus now is on delivering Captain Marvel,” Feige said, “and then bringing Captain Marvel’s story into the finale of everything we’ve started thus far.”
Fans will have to wait for a while to see what Captain Marvel’s role in Avengers 4 will be. The fourth Avengers film is set to be released on May 3, 2019.
