The Walking Dead is set to come back to a standout amongst the most long awaited story arcs. Showrunners guarantee that it will be supplemented by an overwhelming spotlight on new reprobate Negan’s backstory. In the meantime, fans are getting a radical new look at the events toward the start of the zombie apocalypse with a spinoff, Fear the Walking Dead. The Walking Dead universe is sufficiently huge for a lot of fabulous spinoff stories to happen, whether they’re totally unique or drawn from unused thoughts from the comic. With the developing plausibility that more spinoffs could soon be en route, here are 8 of our most loved thoughts for such new series.
8. A BLACK COMEDY
Adore it or detest it, The Walking Dead is a dark series about edgy individuals attempting to survive a termination level event, just to find that their greatest danger isn’t the un-dead but each other. It’s not really a shock that the show has built up a discouraging tone to match. The setting doesn’t really decide a genre; Shaun of the Dead, Fido, and even a couple of minutes in The Walking Dead game by Telltale show how a lighter tone can exist by the setting instead of completely being dominated by it.
7. A 400 DAYS-INSPIRED MINISERIES
A standout amongst the most fascinating choices Telltale made was to bridge any barrier between the initial two periods of The Walking Dead with a middle portion called 400 Days. Set over the initial four hundred days of the zombie apocalypse, the game was something of an anthology series, hopping between various characters and encounters as the emergency wore on.
Showing the continuous change of an area all through the emergency could be a pleasant change of pace, particularly if it’s some place we’ve never seen. It could take the central hook of Telltale’s game and have whichever characters made it to the end of the initial 400 days in the end and have them return in the principle series.
