Christian Bale’s Batman in Dark Knight Trilogy is hands down, one of the best depiction of “World’s greatest Detective”. He was even offered tons of money to pick up the mantle of Batman in Batman V Superman, but he rejected the offer. However, Ben Affleck’s Batman has harvested tons of fans who are now calling him the best Batman of all time. This may be sacrilege to say, but even some of the die-hard fans are thinking that Affleck’s Batman was even better than Michael Keaton’s (Don’t start stone pelting at our offices guys :s ). Ben Affleck was not the best choice among the fans, but once Zack Snyder revealed his first picture in the Batman, the whole internet was liek “Damn, he is the Batman that we all wanted”. Having said that, after the release of Batman V Superman, we saw the fans divided in their opinion about the Batfleck, some loved him and others are hating him, saying that he is nothing compared to Christian Bale’s version. This article throws the light on the features of Affleck’s Batman that makes him superior than Christian Bale’s Dark Knight, and here are few points that discusses that subject :-
1. Ben Affleck’s Batman Knows His Place
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has a structure which is different from various other “comic book” movies. Batman Begins was praised for setting aside a long time to get The Dark Knight wear his suit. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice takes quite a while as well, yet not in the way that you may think. There are portions of extended of action where Affleck’s Batman is taking the backseat. He doesn’t appear to have the answers to everything. Therefore, his triumph is never a surety, and he seems to be OK with that. We saw similar kind of personality of Bats in the Justice League Unlimited TV series, and it is one of the most loved TV shows in the animated arena globally! On the other hand, when Christian Bale realized that there were more noteworthy powers at work, he just vanished. He showed Ostrich like behaviour many a times!
2. Ben Affleck’s Batman is More of A Team Player
Christian Bale’s Dark Knight was one step ahead at all times. Regardless of whether he was working with a pal or enemy, he just appeared to be in the right place at the right time before anyone else ever reached there. On the other hand, Ben Affleck’s Batman is behind the eight ball rather frequently. There are long portions of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where he is basically watching the action unfurl. This may appear like an obligation. However, it really gives us a chance to see more into his psyche. While he embarks to devastate the Man of Steel, before the end of things, he’s working along with both Superman and Wonder Woman. They make a truly extraordinary group, even if it’s for a short period of time.
