From the time the MCU started, comic book lovers have been speculating about the actors that could be cast for future roles in its Phase 3 and 4. Any fan with a basic knowledge of photoshop has the capability to superimpose the faces of their beloved actors and actresses on popular superheroes or supervillains.
Many of these characters haven’t even appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe till now. However, some have been a part of it, and fans are still happy to showcase their favorites. Let’s have a look at six such highly tempting Photoshop pieces created by passionate Marvel fans.
Jamie Foxx As Blade
Jamie Foxx has proved his mettle as a gritty, soft-spoken yet violent hero in Django Unchained. He can certainly introduce his own mannerism in the Blade saga, alongside keeping intact the basic attributes of the character. Beyond doubt, the vast range of past acting efforts of Foxx would come handy in preparing Eric Brooks to be a Dhampir (Half-Human/Half-Vampire), out to settle scores with the killer of his mother.
Walter Goggins As Carnage Aka Cletus Kasady
Ant-Man and The Wasp releasing on July 6th, 2018 is going to be the MCU debut of Walter Goggins as Sony Burch, Chairman of Cross Tech. But, Goggins might become a much welcome member of the Spider-Man franchise as well.
His acting skills would let Goggins an opportunity to travel into the scary mental depths of a serial killer. Frankly, his performance could be far more frightening, because the Venom symbiotic Spawn would stick to the new host, who is undergoing eleven back to back jail sentences.
Brian Tee As The Sub-Mariner
The Sub-Mariner aka Namor has been a routine part of Marvel since he first debuted in the 1939’s Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1. Brian Tee has earlier worked with MCU as Noburo in The Wolverine. He also played a main villain role as the Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which proved that he is quite at home in a role which requires a dominating aura. To see him play the Atlantean Namor is quite likely because he has openly stated his desire to play the role of the Sub-Mariner in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Matthew McConaughey As Mysterio
Mysterio hasn’t been the recipient of much love on the big screen. There was a chance that Quentin Beck would face off with Spider-Man alongside the remainder of the Sinister Six in an Amazing Spider-Man sequel, but, that didn’t happen. Matthew McConaughey is a superb actor, and he would be able to superbly portray the mind control elements of the Mysterio that are more believable, and the younger Peter Parker would be at the disposal of this literal wizard of special effects.
Charlize Theron As Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers
Charlize Theron would be apt to portray the dominating persona of Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers is no pushover in terms of her abilities, and she has the healing power which makes her an extremely durable super-heroine.
Theron would be able to match the charm and endurance of Captain Marvel, and her acting credentials stand her in good stead regarding such a big role. Two of her past performances which stand as a testimony to her expertise as a rough and nuanced actress include Atomic Blonde and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Christian Bale As Captain Britain
Imagine Christian Bale’s acting skills behind another renowned hero, Brain Braddock aka Captain Britain. Bolstered by the powers of the Amulet of Right given to him by Merlyn and his daughter Roma, Braddock would be Britain’s staff wielding superhero.
Before he got his powers, Captain Britain was certain to die after a weird motorcycle crash. A franchise based on the character could charter into uncharted territory. Imagine the evil Mad Jim Jaspers (Earth-238) debuting into MCU, trying to bend the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse into knots while Captain Britain endeavored to stop him. The question is “Who would be suitable to play Jackdaw?” (Captain Britain’s elf assistant).
