5 Facts About Darth Maul You Might Not Be Aware Of!
3. Earned Cyborg Parts.
In Star Wars, cyber implants are similar to scars in a battle. This isn’t remarkable to adversaries, yet Darth Vader and General Grievous had broad robotic reconstruction. Darth Maul experiences this in The Clone Wars. However, this isn’t evident in Son of Dathomir. Maul’s legs are similar to Grievous’, and were made up of Nightsister magic and parts of scrap by Mother Talzin. Another similar design for Darth Maul came years before in Old Wounds, a comic which was never canon. The Clone Wars included an altogether new design for Maul: a body that was eight-legged and made out of scrap metal.
4. He’s Had Two Moms.
Talzin says that she’s Maul’s blood motherin Son of Dathomir. This is not quite the same as his history in Legends. Maul’s real mother, from the novel The Wrath of Darth Maul, was a human Nightsister named Kycina, from Blue Desert City. Maybe Talzin is lying, yet The Clone Wars gave Maul a whole family. We’re not sure how the siblings Feral and Savage are connected. However, they could all be blood related and from the same family. We don’t know the father yet.
