4 New ‘Game of Thrones’ characters we’re Dying To See In Season 7.
3. Marwyn The Mage
Sam Tarly at long last made it to Oldtown, the old city which houses the Citadel and every one of the assets a master-in-training could require. While going around Oldtown in the book series, Sam meets a strange and important character named Marywn.
Marwyn, as Qyburn, is a master known for exploring magic and customs past the standard scope of healing. After meeting Sam, he enlightens him that he knows whereabouts of Daenerys and her dragons. Marwyn sets sail soon after in order to meet the Mother of Dragons himself.
Since Daenerys has left Meereen on the show, we’re certain Marwyn’s storyline would be changed marginally if he shows up by any stretch of the imagination. He appears to be too great a character to leave by the wayside, so our hopes are high. Marwyn is alluded to all through the books before we meet him. The witch Mirri MazDuur, that is, the lady responsible for Khal Drogo’s death, really met him and said he had taught her the Common Tongue.
Marywn also owns has a Glass Candle made totally of obsidian, which is unmistakably tied to magic and perhaps to dragons and the White Walkers and the Lord of Light that Melisandre firmly believes in. Marwyn’s character could blow the top on some truly magical stuff if the show runners pick to incorporate him next season.
4. Genna Lannister
Cersei killed her uncle Kevan Lannister, in the season six finale. However, the fact remains that there’s another Lannister relative of hers that may surface. Genna Lannister is Jaime and Cersei’s aunt and she shows up in the book series.
Since Jaime is no more part of the Kingsguard, and Tywin and Kevan are both dead, he is in fact the Lord of Casterly Rock, the Lannister’s home and wellspring of riches. This location is nearly a secondary “character” we’re dying to see. Therefore, it’d be phenomenal if Jaime came back to Casterly Rock and met his auntie Genna there.
Genna would be another legitimate female character to have joined the cast, like Olenna Tyrell’s predominance over the Tyrell family. She may be ideal for fuelling hostility towards Cersei, thereby increasing the gap between Jaime and his twin.
