15 Shades Of The Gray Jedi: A Deep Dive Into The Middle Path Of The Force
12. ASAJJ VENTRESS
First introduced in “Clone Wars,” micro-series, Asajj Ventress was Jedi padawan and then the apprentice to Darth Tyrannus.
After Clone Wars ended and Nightsisters were destroyed, Ventress struggled to find meaning in life. Ventress and her Jedi lover Quinlan Vos attempted to kill Count Dooku. Ventress sacrificed herself to save Vos and return him to light.
11. NIGHTSISTERS OF DATHOMIR
The Nightsisters were a group of matriarchal witches on Dathomir, which debuted in “The Clone Wars.” The planet was a source of dark side energy and the witches used that as the source of their “magick.”
Their powers were fueled by the dark side, but Nightsisters were able to use it to retain control over themselves. While the use of necromancy and powers land them on the dark side, they were dedicated to isolationism until brought into competition with the Sith.
10. JAL SHEY
A nomadic clan of Force-sensitives who traveled and intellectually studied the Force. Very little is known of them. While constructing lightsabers and practicing basic defense skills, they focused on constructing armor that boosted their efforts.
Limited to codex entries, the philosophy of Jal Shey will survive the fall of the Jedi and Sith.
