1. BRIAN BLESSED as the SECOND DOCTOR
Blessed claims him to be one of the actors to be on the list to replace Hartnell. And what would have happened if he had really replaced William Hartnell in 1966? Hope you are familiar with his booming tone. Just imagine what the character would turned out to be if he was chosen as the replacement—even Daleks would have submitted to his tone. He came too close to this reality, until he was pipped to the post by Patrick Troughton.
2. BERNARD CRIBBINS as the FOURTH DOCTOR
He was on the list of possibilities to replace Jon Pertwee, but it was Tom Baker who stole the show. Later he went on to play the famous role of Wilfred Mott. He shared his memories in an interview,
