10. The Crate
In case you’re a fan of horror, you’ve most likely seen or known about Creep show. This is the horror collection film from 1982 directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King. If you haven’t, there’s a part in the film where a janitor finds an old wooden container in the storm cellar set apart with the words “SHIP TO HORLICK’S UNIVERSITY VIA JULIA CARPENTER ARCTIC EXPEDITION”.
This same carton is highlighted in a scene of AMC’s The Walking Dead. On a side note, Creep show was as a graphic novel, much the same as The Walking Dead.
9. Romero’s Zombie
Dawn of the Dead is presumably one the most celebrated zombie motion pictures ever constructed. So, it’s safe to say that it propelled the brains behind The Walking Dead. Co-executive producer and special effects director Gregory Nicotero, who has worked with Romero in the past, reproduced one of the more well-known zombies known as Stephen “Hotshot” Andrews from Dawn of the Dead in the fifth episode of season three of the AMC arrangement. This zombie can be seen in the Governor’s well known zombie fighting enclosure, wearing the same bloodied white shirt and tilting his head to give the impression of a broken neck.
