10 Fatal Mistakes The Walking Dead Season 7 Must Evade.
8. Dropping Characters Must Be Used Carefully
Part of the issue with a huge cast is that numerous characters won’t be able to be included in each scene if fans are to appreciate various storylines.
The Walking Dead’s answer was to dispose of some huge hitters for a considerable length of time. However, that brings up another issue. As it is, Carol is ostensibly the best of the group yet she was sidelined for a long spell so we could appreciate follies of minor characters. No one needs to see that, it would be significantly more desirable to severe ties with five or six characters than drop Rick, Carol, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie for two or three scenes consecutively.
7. No More Jarring Time Jumps
One of the weakest parts of Season 6 was after the mid-season drama. Rick watched his love interest Jessie die brutally. He had to chop off her arm off to forestall Carl being dragged into the wreckage. However, very he was seeing Michonne very soon after that. It didn’t make sense at all. The show and turmoil of the mid-season swung to sheer serenity in a matter of moments and Rick’s enthusiastic excursion with Jessie was wiped away without a trace. There’s a reason I’ve included just “jarring” jumps. They can be utilized unpretentiously and viably to propel the story. However, the show can’t simply jump ahead to a completely different vibe.
