Love interests are a gigantic piece of superhero films. However, for different reasons, large portions of them wind up dragging those down. What you’ll discover here are the 10 most awful love interests from the recent Marvel and DC blockbusters…
10. Silver Fox (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
“Do you know why the moon is so lonely?” No, I don’t know either. However, that didn’t stop Lynn Collins’ Silver Fox rattling off a ludicrously awful story. Poor old Logan thought he’d discovered happiness with his school teacher sweetheart. However, he later her discovers her dead at the hands of Sabretooth.
Truly, she wasn’t killed and was actually watching Wolverine the entire time for Weapon X. As illogical as this seemed to be, it was topped off by the way that she really adored him from the start! Her death had no effect on people. Thankfully, Mariko fared far better a couple of years later on in The Wolverine.
9. Lois Lane (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice)
Seeing as Lois Lane spent such a gigantic measure of time in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice attempting to clear the Man of Steel’s name, you might think what she’s doing here. Well, as much as The Daily Planet writer may love Clark Kent, let’s not overlook that she was basically the reason he died! Lois’ arbitrary choice to toss that Kryptonite spear underwater compelled Superman to protect her. She later understood her mistake, and that debilitated him severely. Lois was a nuisance in Man of Steel too. Therefore, it now stays to be seen whether she’ll bring about the revived Superman problems in Justice League next November.
